Dado Router Jig Plans

Metric & Imperial Plans: Cut Perfect Dadoes Every Single Time — Without Guesswork, Gap Filler, or “Close Enough” Joinery.

If you’ve ever cut a dado and ended up with:

• A fit looser than a pair of sweatpants

• A board that rattles around like it’s trying to escape

• Or the classic… “Why doesn’t plywood ever measure the size it says on the label?”

…then this jig is about to become your new best mate.

This Easy Dado Jig is designed for use with a trim router and makes cutting perfectly sized, snug-fitting dadoes fast, accurate, and repeatable — even if you're still in your “beginner carpenter who measures 3 times and still cuts wrong” era.

What This Jig Does (In Plain English)

Instead of guessing the width of your dado or taking 47 test cuts, this jig automatically matches the exact thickness of your board. Once it’s set, you just:

A: Clamp it down

B: Run your router

C: Drop your mating piece in and enjoy that chef’s kiss snug fit

D: No tear-out.

E: No gaps.

F: No frustration.

G: Just clean, perfect joinery that makes your project look like you actually knew what you were doing the whole time.

Why You’ll Love It:

• Beginner-Friendly Build: No fancy tools required

• Works With Real-World Lumber Sizes: Because plywood measurements are lies

• Repeatable Accuracy: Every dado is exactly the same width

• Huge Time Saver: Stop fiddling, start building

• Looks Pro: Yes, your friends will ask how you did it
